When Randi Magnussen (b. 1967) grew up she often had a terrible state of mind: She could
hear people talking about her behind her back, and sometimes she felt this terrible smell
from her own body, and people talked about it, she believed.

Her delusions mixed reality and fantasy together and her daily life became chaotic and stressful.
Her condition took a turn for the worse and she was hospitalized. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia,
and finally she got help. Today she lives alone in her apartment in Bergen, Norway,
and she has become a role model for others living with mental illness.
